Balarabe has launched the Securing Nigeria’s Forest Future Country Package, the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation said in a statement.
According to the ministry, the package is intended to support forest management, land restoration, biodiversity and climate resilience. The ministry also linked it to investment in the forestry sector and to participation by communities that live in and around forests.
The claims about the aims and expected benefits of the package are those of the ministry.
